Huh? I could have sworn I read on here the other day one of them ran at 8p and 8a and 2p and 2a and that the 8 oclock ones used new data and the 2 oclock ones used old data?

Weather balloons are lifted at 7AM and 7PM daily, however it takes several hours to process all the day, so that's why I said 9:30 for the NAM and 11:00 for the GFS.  Some of the other models take longer than that.

Re: Monday night-tuesday storm Feb 8-9

NAM Is out and at first glance it looks okay... Critical Thickness lines (925 MB and Below) breifly...and I do mean ever so breifly make it to CVG so a very breif period of mixing MAY occur, but our snowpack may be just enough to save us there. I don't know yet. QPF looks pretty good as well.

I will give a full update after GFS runs.

Yea seems the nam hasent had a handle on this storm the whole time.  Still putting out decent precip but I'm going with the gfs on this one.
