If they have the choice they would be legal, that is a fact. According to all of you, there is no difference, illegal is illegal. So according to you this doctor is a liar, thief, cheat, slimy grease ball.
That is why we need a immigration reform,
Well, guess what? Illegal is illegal. Stealing is stealing. If you're not here legally, you are ILLEGAL.
Ultimately, keep ranting and raving as if YOU are correct. We LEGAL citizens will remember your arrogance and lack of concern when WE vote against you at the polls.
You're trying to make OUR country every bit as nasty and disgusting as YOUR country. If you don't want to live in a dirty, stinky nasty country, why turn MY country into YOURS?
I think the politicians need to pull our troops out of Iraq and go after the REAL terrorists. The illegals. Your trying to ruin MY way of life, and I don't appreciate it one little bit.
And, make no mistake, YOU are a terrorist. Illegal aliens are TERRORISTS. Just like any parasite, you suck your host dry, until nothing is left and scurry off, looking for other victims to prey upon.

What makes you think that I'm illegally in this country?
You can vote all you want; so far it has not worked. You might want to be part of the solution.
You are the one that is ranting, I am as happy as I can be. You keep thinking your way; I do not bother me a bit.
My home country is actually beautiful; you need to learn to be respectful to other people, countries and cultures. I have not disrespect you or your country.

writerruth:what gets me is how they (illegals) can get away with it. When I apply for any benefits, I have to have so much paperwork -- and sometimes paperwork that legitimizes the paperwork -- over and over again. And if something comes up on the SS# (like a child going to work) they are on top of that almost before it happens.
I know what you mean. By the time my mom was finished filling out all the paper work for her Social Security benefits, she died. Oh, and she didn't even get the SS death benefits. A whopping $400 maximum. Wanna know how much a funeral costs? Its more than $400!!
My mom worked, earned money. Didn't get much of her Social Security.
Wanna know something really special? If she had died just a mere 8 hours and 45 minutes later, dad wouldn't have had to return her LAST month's benefit! Seriously. If you die, even on the last day of the month, your beneficiary has to return ALL the money for that entire month.
What a heart, huh?
Sorry your wife died, but could you return that last check we sent you? I know the casket alone cost more that what we sent you, and you have a mortgage, utilities and food,... and you earned that money, but hey, she died.

Did I say "YOU" specifically?
Of course you're happy as can be, you are part of the problem.
I don't really give a rats earlobe if you think I'm ranting, truth is, you ARE disrespecting me, my country and all its occupants.
And if your country is so beautiful, and so wonderful and so full of opportunity, why do you want to be here so badly?
Like I said before. I have NO problem with people wanting to come here LEGALLY.
And please continue to insult us all. You're insulting US citizens is making the problem become more visible. Your downright lack of respect for our way of life is such a slap in everyones faces.
So, keep being rude. More people WILL vote.
Thanks for making it easier.

El Critico:
When did I disrespect you? Disagreeing is disrespect? You are calling our countries names, I’m not. My country is beautiful and so is these one and many others.
Disagreeing? absolutely not! That is not disrespectful.
And, you may want a new English dictionary. I did NOT call your country names. I pointed out that, if your country was wonderful .. why are you taking chances to move here illegally? That is not calling anyone, or any place a name.
People coming into the country, stealing from its citizens, that is disrespectful.
Stealing jobs and benefits from its citizens, that is disrespectful.
What illegals do is NO different than what Terrorists want to do. They want to ruin our way of life. They want us to live in fear, lose our jobs, lose our homes, our health our basic way of life. "The American Way."
Illegals don't care about laws. They care about only themselves. They figure, "hey! I can get a job that pays better than anything I can get in (insert country)." Who cares if its legal citizens get jobs or not, as long as I get my $1.25 an hour to send to (insert country). They steal our identities. They copy down our credit card information to steal from that. Now you've involved our banking systems. You don't even have the courtesy of taking a driver ed course, you have people working on the inside at the BMV so you can get illegal drivers licenses. You get welfare and Social Security disability without ever having worked a day in the United States. You get section 8 housing. Some of your comrades attack small girls in Hamilton, Ohio. What was his punishment? That guy ran back home. That little girl is going to be scarred the rest of her life.
If US citizens were that selfish, the US wouldn't be worth anyone risking their lives to illegally cross into it.
a few other people are sitting here, trying to justify why its okay to illegally come into this country, lower our standards of living, infect us with diseases erradicated decades ago, make us lose OUR benefits ...because like I said, we lose our jobs to you because you're willing to take money under the table, work for less money... we don't work. Period. THAT is disrespectful.
Our forefathers fought wars to put the laws into place. Lost their lives. We owe a debt of gratitude to these courageous people.
What did YOU do to earn this? NADA. Did you sacrifice yourself for the ideals of this country? Nunca. Everything is set up, all nice and neat, with a pretty red bow, and you think its ripe for the taking. And you say THAT is not disrespectful???????????
If your countries were so "wonderful," why are so many from your countries taking so many chances with their lives to stay in mine, illegally, no less? Some of these illegals are pregnant, some are bringing small children. If your country was so "great," "beautiful" wonderful in every way, who's putting a gun to your head to illegally cross the border into mine? They're also putting their own children at risk to illegally cross the border.
I dunno. If I were pregnant, or had children, I wouldn't risk my life, my childrens life to get shot in the head, with no prospects in my future.
Sounds pretty desperate to me. I think if a country was wonderful, why leave with so much to lose?
So, keep disrespecting my way of life. Please. Your arrogance is inciting so many LEGAL, voting citizens. Keep it up. You're doing a fine job.
Its a major election year. They have "platforms." What do you think this election year platform will be? "removing illegal aliens."
Do you think your attitude is creating sympathy for your own cause? Nope. You're making more people WANT DESPERATELY to get politicians to remove all illegals -- by any means necessary.
Keep chatting. Your smug attitude make you look bad . You don't need help from me.

"If you don't want to live in a dirty, stinky nasty country, why turn MY country into YOURS?" To me this is insulting our countries.
I believe this is the bottom line. You can try o get all the undocumented immigrants out (witch is not going too happened) or you can find a way to account them and collect taxes from them. That will also help detect and separate the real criminals (I know, you think they all are, but they are not)
Most immigrants will love to have temporary work visas; they don’t want to stay here. If you were pregnant, you will do anything to help your baby, I know I would.
I feel very sorry for you; your anger makes me sad, and I will pray for you, I hope that one day you realized we are all human, and we are not better than anybody else, we are just different.

I think you're the one who's angry. NO where on my posts am I ever expressing anger. You read into things what you want. I think deep down, you know its wrong and it just can't be defended (to come illegally into a country).
And, the mere fact you would subject a pregnant woman to the dangers of illegally crossing the border proves you think you have to leave your country. Tell me where I'm wrong? That just doesn't scream, "Clean, wonderful, beautiful country... full of benefits and wonders... land of plenty" to me. Desperately sneaking out says "I NEED TO GET OUT OF MY COUNTRY -- AND NOW!!!"
If you're pregnant, put your baby FIRST. I know I would.
If leaving my country meant I would be shot on sight, and I'd be risking the life of my own unborn child, vs. staying in a 'BEAUTIFUL, WONDERFUL, CLEAN, PLENTIFUL country -- why would I do that?" Either I am extremely stupid, or extremely selfish or I just plain don't care. Since I'm none of those three.... I can't see leaving a GREAT country. So, why are these people leaving en masse if its so wonderful?
The danger of staying has to be worse than the threat of being shot. Not having a home to go to. Dangerous too.
BTW, I've been to several tourist spots in Mexico. West, Central and East coast. I wouldn't walk alone there at night.
Illegal = wrong. If you're here illegally, its WRONG.
Yeah, we'll collect up all the illegals and get money from them!!
HAHAHAAAHAAHAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAA.
You mean the ones with the illegal papers? The illegal drivers license? MY credit card information?
What good is "gathering taxes" from someone with stolen bank information? I'd pay taxes TWICE?
haaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaa
Keep talking the way you are Critico ... and others who defend illegal actions. You think it "cannot happened." It can, it has and it will.
BTW, if you don't like the message, I can't help that. Its your problem, not mine.
But please, keep defending illegal actions. Please continue to be arrogant. and ignorant. Like I said, you're making legally registered to vote citizens WANT to make changes.
Once again, I will reiterate what I have said now a thousand times:
I welcome LEGAL immigrants, no matter what country they come from. All I ask is; DO IT LEGALLY.
My message is simple. You don't like it because I speak the truth. You don't like it because you have to look at your countrymen as felons, thieves and a host of terms you just don't want to see.
I never put a gun to anyone's head to make them come here. No one did. That was their choice. But, they get no sympathy from anyone when they act the way they do.

For English, press one
Für Deutsch drücken Sie zwei
The reason we don't hear this over the phone is because our ancestors who came to this country couldn't wait to embrace its customs, culture, and language.
If your want to be an American, go home and apply to enter our country legally.
If you don't want to be an American, just go home.

Kate; you missed the mark on one minor issue...
This is the United States of America, we speak English, I will not "press one for english".
This whole illegal alien issie reminds me of the old sterotype cowboy western, you know the one, a wagon train is making its way across the arid land when they are surronded by bandits. The bandit leader says to the encircled travelers...
"We want your horses, we want your wagons, we want your money, we want your guns, and we want your wimmin... we are sooo poor, and you have soo much".
Thats just it, the world preceived the USA is a rich land, which it is. Even the people below the "poverty line" in the USA have color TVs and cell phones.
Those that want the things that our ansestors built think that they can just break into the USA, scale the walls, tunnel the border, and steal the American Way without having to join the club and pay the dues.

Over-the-Rhine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article is about the Cincinnati neighborhood. For the Ohio-based band, see Over the Rhine.
Over-the-Rhine is a neighborhood in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, which is situated between Downtown and Clifton Heights. Over-the-Rhine is a historic district, treasured for its massive collection of 19th century Italianate structures, that was listed in the National Register on May 17, 1983. It contains 943 contributing buildings.
The area's name comes from its builders and early residents, German immigrants, many of whom made a daily trek across bridges over the Miami and Erie Canal which separated the area from downtown Cincinnati. In homage to the Old Country, they called their neighborhood "Over-the-Rhine", imagining the canal to be the Rhine in Germany.
Historically, there were many people in Over-the-Rhine who spoke German, read German newspapers, ate German food, and constructed German-style houses. The neighborhood has changed considerably, in terms of demographics, economics, and architecture, but elements of the old style remain. For example, the German Baptist Church, Philippus United Church of Christ, Trinity Methodist Church, Salem United Church of Christ and many other neighborhood churches have inscriptions in German and Latin. Another church of historical interest is the area is Old St. Mary's Catholic Church, the oldest church in Cincinnati. The church has artifacts on display, and still holds Mass in German and Latin every Sunday. Also of note is the historic St. Paul Church (Over the Rhine), which is now the home of The Verdin Company. The Cincinnati Volksfreund was a daily and weekly German language newspaper based in Cincinnati, published between 1850 and 1908.
Today, Central Parkway, a major thoroughfare located in the area formerly occupied by the Miami and Erie Canal, separates Over-the-Rhine from Downtown. By 1906, the canal had fallen into disuse due to competition from railroads, and parts of the right-of-way were purchased for use by the Cincinnati and Lake Erie Railroad. An electric streetcar line ran along part of the route to connect Cincinnati with Columbus and Toledo, but other parts of the canal remained stagnant pits of dirty water. In 1920, the Cincinnati Subway began construction in the former canal, but it was abandoned by 1928 (several tunnels and stations remain in good condition to this day). That year Central Parkway opened on top of the abandoned subway's right-of-way.
