My dad told me a story that my grandma (who would be 105 is she was still alive) told him about a May snowstorm probably 80-90 years ago in SE KY that measured up to "the horses' bellies!" Can the weather gurus confirm or deny such a storm that would have taken place in the 1920's perhaps or thereabouts? How about any snow in the immediate vicinity for the end of May? If so, how much?? Just didn't want anyone to forget about snow as we approach the unofficial kickoff to summer!
