I, in fact, have no HISPANIC workers working for me, nor would I ever.  In fact, my company and many others of my friends have lost out on contracts due to employers like Fischer Homes who chose to hire HISPANIC day laborers for much less than the normal wage earned here in AMERICA.  Due to the greed of these companies, many AMERICAN workers are forced to sit the bench at their local unions, when they are more than willing to work, not just lazy as you have implied previously.  These HISPANICS are not taking jobs that no one wants, they are facilitating the greed of these companies to make more off of their laboring backs than the AMERICAN backs who had done the work just fine before them, but were paid too much to allow those companies that large of a profit margin.

Oh, and AMERICA refers to the United States of AMERICA, not the continent of NORTH AMERICA, which would also inculde Canada, which is not AMERICAN.  Therefore, if your patriotism and citizenship is in South America, the you are not a citizen of THE USA, (AMERICA) and therefore not an AMERICAN.  I believe I learned this well before 4th grade, perhaps your geography class in South America didn't teach it to you properly.

Perhaps, Gina, your anger towards Americans would be better served by returning to South America and preaching in Spanish to someone who cares about what you are saying.

Gina, you still have not grasp the concept of illegal vs legal.

NO ONE is faulting a person who legally enters the USA, only those that break the law, thus, becoming an ILLEGAL ALIEN!

You cannot equate the war in Iraq, the murder in Columbine, the murder in Virginia with illegals that invade our home. I can however equate the rape of a minor child "because this is the norm in his home country" or the murder of the bar patron in Mason with illegal aliens. I can equate the theft of identities by illegals that steal a person ID and then create problems with the IRS, FAA, and local police.

I have 2 teenage children who took Spanish, along with my own Spanish classes 20 years ago,  so they were able to help me translate.

No, it is not the fault of the Hispanics that they are being paid less because of their status as citizens.  That is clearly the fault of the employers, which is why they have been and should continue to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  What is the fault of the illegal workers is that they are illegal in the first place.  If you really want to be here in America, and to be an American is your true desire, not just to earn money and still call yourself patriot to another country, then you should have no problem with doing things the correct and legal way.  Nothing worth having ever comes easy.  It is difficult and time consuming, but well worth it if you don't have to run everytime you see the police and your children can grow up secure that they are forever citizens of this country, never to face deportation or the deportation of their parents. 

Yes, those people who committed those crimes are indeed true criminals.  That does not negate the fact that living here and working here without being documented and given permission is illegal and a punishable offense.  Punishable by deportation. 

We are all citizens of the world, that does not mean that we can all go galavanting from country to country without the proper paperwork.  We must have passports just to travel to other countries, and permission to live in any other country for any extended length of time.

And I think if you actually followed statistics, your continuous claim that the majority of Americans live on welfare while you work to support the rest of us is ludicrous.  Are there a select group of the population who accept welfare?  Yes.  Are they in the majority? Absolutely not.  So I am offended by the fact that you keep making the assumption that all Americans are lazy and on welfare.  It is simply an inaccurate argument to make. ( and taking free health care and milk and peanut butter from WIC is considered welfare too, just so you know)

I am not completely unsympathetic to the plight of the Hispanic population.  I understand what their goal is, and cannot fault them for trying to better their lives.  I simple am uncomfortable with the method they are using to do it.

You still missing the point: they are not going away, so, we might as well know were they are. Is not difficult to be here legal, is impossible.

The draw on the system to support non-English speaking persons is pulling down an entire school district.

Why is this important? PROPERTY VALUES is a major reason. If the schools are lowered quality, right minded people will avoid the area.

What you failed to explain is that is not only Hispanic students, is low income students and kids with disabilities. Also that they have reduce 10% of the students with English disabilities, so they are making progress. Is this how low you are gone to go now? The kids? At least they are in school trying to get an education to better themselves, but your are concern about the value of the homes. Ok, so lets kick them out of the schools, so we can have more criminals on the streets. You are never going to get it. They are here, they are not going anywhere, we need to take advantage of the benefits of having hard working Hispanics in the area.
