To aimhi869.
Just for your information, read below.... Ah and what more thing.. your lack of information goes far beyond limits, Hispanics are all the Spanish speaking people in the world not only Mexicans. Enjoy the below and hope you can one day be part of the growing list of successful business owners..
Hispanic-owned businesses thrive
Hispanic-owned companies are among the fastest-growing business segments in the nation, according to the SBA.
By Jessica Seid, CNNMoney.com staff writer
September 14 2006: 3:21 PM EDT
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The number of Hispanic-owned companies grew 82 percent since 1997, which is triple rate of growth for all U.S. businesses, and are expected to grow exponentially in the near future, according to a recent survey.
There are approximately two million Hispanic-owned businesses in the country that generate almost $300 billion in annual revenue, the Small Business Administration said Wednesday.
"We're seeing people become more business oriented and that shows in the Hispanic community," said Michael Barrera, president and CEO of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC).
"[Hispanic-owned businesses] are changing the landscape of many cities," he said.
One out of every 10 small businesses will be Hispanic by the year 2007 and by 2010, there will be 3.2 million Hispanic firms generating $465 billion, the survey said.
Hispanic women-owned businesses number 553,618, employ 320,000 and generate $44.4 billion in sales nationwide, according to the SBA.

To Gina:
I AM a prospering AMERICAN business owner. I have owned my own company for over 5 years, and we pay more in taxes, social security, etc than all of your 12 hour a day laborers. We pay more for health insurance than you probably pay for you mortgage and your groceries each month, while I see mostly Mexicans at our local health department, getting free health exams and prescriptions for their children. Our business is a "blue collar" industry, so we work hard each and every day to be successful, without any government grants from the SBA. We started the hard way, and built our business without asking for anyone's help because we were a minority or female. That is the AMERICAN way.
If those business owners are here legally, then more power to them. If they didn't steal anyone's identity, and they pay their taxes and dues like everyone else, without taking handouts then who am I to judge. The key word in all of this discussion is LEGAL. As Americans, we have to abide by our laws or face the consequences, yet millions of Hispanics run around OUR country, unidentified, untraceable, and whether paying taxes or not, they break our laws on a daily basis, just by being here. I want justice and equality for all LEGAL citizens of this country, by following and upholding our laws. That means if you didn't do things the proper way, then you do not DESERVE to be here. Go back, make another plan, and follow the rules just like the rest of us have to.

That is the best you can come up with? YAWN? What a clever and informed response. Maybe you don’t understand the numbers and what they mean. We can break it down in simple words if you need us to.
yes, YAWN! You are boring; you are trying to put me to sleep.
Just because someone is here in the USA, working a minimum wage labor job to support his/her family, we should somehow give them the right to do this?
They broke the law, they came as a thief in the night, here to steal another’s identity, to take jobs from legal citizens.
Try as you will, many of us will stand vigil.
Borders, Language, Culture!

El Critico:
No one is forcing you to read or write here, so if you are bored, go away. We should be writing in Spanish anyway. No one is taking jobs from anybody, if you want to work in the US, you can do it. Go to a homeless shelter and tell me how many Hispanics you find in there. The answer is none, and if you find one, they will be gone in one day, because they will work, no matter how bad the job is.
no, this is the United States, we speak English.
Yes, they are taking jobs, the illegal aliens are holding jobs, they took those jobs from SOMEONE, this is not the Peoples Republic of China where jobs are manufactured because there are too many people.

News flash, this is the WORLD WIDE WEB. Anybody from anywhere can be here and speak whatever language they want. So, YES, we speak any language we want.
Once again, they are here because there is a demand for jobs, the reason that people from here don’t have jobs, is because they don’t want to.

Yes we can Speak English and Spanish, what about you? Oh I forgot only English…. Uhmmm. I got it, you are afraid we are taking your $6,50 an hour job picking up the leaves in the fall.
Well legally or illegally we are here, and we will still be here because you know what, like it or not, the US needs us, otherwise who will bill the wall??????? ;-) you exphoneman or you aimhi869, after you finish you 8-hour shift at your Blue Collar Company. I am sure you have some Hispanics employed and probably not paying them minimum wage ah?
And please Hispanics are not only Mexicans, this is a basic 4th grade information, everyone that speak Spanish is a Hispanic, and just for your information we are also AMERICAN, do you know why?????? because we are from South or Central America so guess what if this is AMERICA then I have all the right like others from Central and South America to be here in AMERICA.
Chao….
Pd. El Critico, lets switch to Spanish so they either learn or give up, it will not be the first time.

Speak Spanish if you desire, I am an Amateur Radio operator, I speak to Amateurs in foreign countries on a daily basis, If you want, I will speak to you in conversational Russian or German or Italian, I can even type out words in International Morse Code, but this would be rude.
I just have to question why you desire to handicap yourself, religate yourself to a second class citizen. The common language in the USA is English, the language of commerce is English, the language of international communications is English, the language of aviation is English. I can go to the Peoples Republic of China, hail a cab, check into my hotel, navigate a city, all without knowing Chinese. WHY? Because the language of commerce is English.
Only a fool would move to a new country, and keep the old world language, the old world culture, and if the fool does not assimulate, the new country will soon become the cesspool of the old country.

Rude is you coming to a forum design for Spanish and start writing in English. I’m so impress for your ability to communicate with people around the world, maybe now, you can start to listen to what they have to say, you might learn a thing or two. I’m a first class citizen, and that is because who I am, not because the language that I speak. I’m very proud of where I come from.

the bottom line is this, come to the USA, LEGALLY enter the country, do not enter as a thief, meld into society, assimulate, become a citizen, enjoy the American Way of Life.
HOWEVER, if you do not enter legally, do not meld, refuse to assimulte, then you are not welcome, you are not desired, and you will be asked to leave...
And now, back to one of my very first comments; Welcome to America, we speak English.

I think the bottom line is, we’ll continue to come, must of you are welcoming us already, so we don’t really care that you don’t, and we’ll continue to contribute to this great country, and we’ll speak whatever language we want. You can ask us to leave, but we would have to say, thanks but no thanks, we are staying. Hey, you never know, maybe one day we can buy you a beer, you will get to kwon us, and you will realize, this is not such a bad thing! !Buena Suerte amigo!
