It's another example of how the 'bad' make it difficult for the 'good' I do understand the costs of repair, upkeep, insurance, and maintenance, and those costs CAN BE unreasonable, too. Even when they are reasonable, they can be an unexpected and unbudgeted-for expense and kind of pass along the financial problems to the next 'victim'.
It's not a problem with any easy answers, whether those answers are slanted for the positive or for the negative.
I responded to the post that insinuated people are homeless because they won't get a job. That's too simple as well as being wrong. Maybe some people are homeless because they CAN'T get a job. And maybe one reason they can't get a job is because they have no permanent address, therefore appearing impermanent to those who want to hire long term workers.
The 'homeless' ,'blacks', the 'mentally ill' , single parents -- hey, these are all individual persons, so don't dump them all into a collective trashcan and decide what 'they' are or aren't. Everyone has a story.
