    Late Frost

One more for James....  I've heard several people tell me the old rule of thumb about not planting tender vegetation before Mother's Day, i.e. the middle of May.  So what's the record for the latest frost/freeze to hit the tri-sate?

The latest that CVG has been below freezing is May 25. The average last freeze is April 21.  While CVG will not drop that low tonight, some areas will come close if not surpass it.

    Hope that helps.

    Welcome Back James!

Are you home to stay or just a reprieve during the dominance of the ridge over the plains?

100% dry at least through Thursday.

Slim chances for rain Fri-Sun.  Decent chance of showers and storms Monday.

    Hey James,

I know we have talked about the latest frost, what's the earliest frost we've ever had?
