Here's a questions I've had for sometime and I would like to get some of the experts' feeling on this as well too if possible.  Does anyone put any stock into the "The Old Farmer's Almanac" meaning is this just for fun or is this actually a true guess of the weather?  My reason for asking is pretty simple, it appears the that almanac is pretty close at guessing the weather, usually within a week or two of the actual guess.  How does everyone feel about this?
