My husband worked with a man who was killed instantly while driving and talking on the cell phone as he was getting off of the highway. Just recenly, another man was killed instantly on the highway while talking on the phone. For the safety of everyone, making calls while driving, whether in the high speed lane or driving down your street should not be allowed. Besides, how many women are talking to their men on the cell phone while driving? Why can't the other person insist that they call back when they get to their destination? What is more important than showing someone you care for them and their safety by waiting? This man may have experienced a bad woman driver, but you can't accuse all women. Even truck drivers are using cell phones, maybe not in the high speed lane. But how safe does that make you feel? What difference does the lane make?
