i thnk it stinks there should be safer ways to make toys so they don't have to be recalled.

A person rapes and molests a child and kills that child,but pleads out and gets a lighter sentence.How does this help tax payers ? It only helps the prosecuter on his tally of convictions.Murders,rapes,drugs,crimes against children and crime goes up where does it stop ?

If you do the crime take them to the box let a jury decide,plea bargin`s don`t help but hard time just might.

Third Round of Recalls Blamed on Excessive Lead Levels

Tuesday night, Mattel and the CPSC announced a third recall of toys made in China. The recall was activated because of excessive lead levels in the toys.

How do you feel about the recalls? Can toy makers be trusted to manufacture products that are safe? Are you more suspicious of toys when you go to buy?

Products From China - Excessive Lead Levels

Someone liked the idea and suggested starting a new thread. Since this topic was originally your idea ( "Toys Recalled...."), I'm wondering if it might be better to reuse yours to encourage citizens take an active part in correcting this situation. Obviously, the politicians in Washington aren't going to do much until we do something that grabs their attention. A "Silent Protest" by motivated private individuals can bring changes. A lot a people are feeling frustrated about this issue and may also have some very workable ideas.
