From what I've been seeing on TV, it *almost* looks like the same areas getting big storms this evening are some of the same ones who got it Saturday.

I can't remember which thread I read it in, but...."a 2% chance of tornadoes within a 25 mile radius? What does that mean? 2% sounds like a very small chance to me so is there more to it than what I'm reading?

And as soon as i posted the last post the SPC came out with a new outlook that DOES have SW OHIO in a 2% chance for tornadoes within 25 miles of any point.

Re: Tuesday and Tueday Night

My guess would be that the tornado threat will be less today and tonight, but i thought that Saturday night as well. The SPC doesn't even have us in the tornado threat today and tonight. They did have us in a 5% range saturday. So who knows. I will say there is not as much shear (right now) as there was saturday but this could change as the front approaches.

The radar is already lighting up across the region. with strong t'storms. That goes to show how unstable the atmosphere has become through the day. It should still be moderately unstable into the night time hours.

Tonight my guess is that this maybe more of an all around severe weather event instead of the bulk of it being in Ohio. The storms will also be isolated so they will be likely strong to severe.

Again i am only guessing. Becuase i am not a meteorologist don.t take this for an offical forecast. Just trying to build up the discussion.

Tuesday and Tueday Night

So...are we looking at another 'saturday night' event tomorrow or just some strong to possibly severe storms?
