AT 857 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM HAMILTON TO
LAWRENCEVILLE...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

THESE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH AND
PEA SIZE HAIL.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL BE AFFECTED BY THESE STORMS INCLUDE...
ST. LEON...HAMILTON...LAWRENCEVILLE...MAUSTOWN...
ROSS...MONROE...HUGHES...WEST HARRISON...FAIRFIELD...
DUNLAP...NEW BALTIMORE...LOGAN...WEISBURG AND DOVER.

There is a line of storms in SE Indiana that seems to be intensifying as it moves SE. While most of the severe weather will remain to our south and west, we should still keep an eye out for the line of storms approaching us. Can't rule out a warning or two being issued with that line, though no warnings have been out with this line for several hours.

The low is currently on the IN/OH line, just to our north in Preble County.

I didn't watch this morning...was still in bed...but I did watch at Noon and he did mention something about the rain we got before. I really didn't see much this afternoon a few sprinkles. As of right now, I see the storms rolling through Indiana, Are we still facing an unstable air mass still or do we anticipate this storms will fall apart?

Keep in mind that many areas have picked up anywhere from 1-3 inches, if not a little more since yesterday morning. So it won't take much rain for some minor flooding to occur. As for today, hopefully you guys were watching "Good Morning Cincinnati" this morning, John mentioned that the showers and storms from this morning would quickly move through the area and we should see a break by mid morning into the afternoon with the chance for a few showers and storms, with some storms redeveloping late this afternoon as another shortwave moves our way, Some of the storms could still be severe, there are some severe storms in southern IL and SW Indiana, near the Evansville area.

That was my understanding, we were supposed to get rain, a lot of it. Now we got some rain this morning, but not enough to really do much harm in the way of flooding. Then again, it's only a watch. As for the daytime heating, it's definitely still humid and starting to warm, any ideas as to when we might see any storms if any?

So are we in a lull right now? It's going on noon, and hasn't rained around here for the past few hours. Are we going to get more this afternoon, or is it done now? The sun has even been peeking in and out. I thought the rain was supposed to go on basically all day until later this evening? Isn't that why a flood watch was issued?

Definitely not a repeat of Saturday the 30th, however depending on how much sunshine we get later on (if any), will determine our chances for severe weather this afternoon. We are still under a slight risk through this evening. Hopefully this morning's round of showers and storms will stabilize the atmosphere enough to where we won't have a threat of svr storms.

You know it's gotta be bad when they're calling for severe weather more than 24hrs out. How serious are we looking storm wise? A possible repeat of the Saturday before last or just some pop up thunderstorms that will produce some hail and gusty winds?
