Well, first off there are too many alternatives available to young people these days that any "oops" pregnancy that warrants abortion should occur. Abortion is an easy way out for those young ones that yell heat of the moment. But stop and look around. We have raised a generation of no-responsibility children. They do what they want, when they want and with whom they want with no concern for the consequences. And we enable them to do this when we "bail" them out of trouble instead of making them learn some life lessons. Granted some are hard lessons to learn, but who will be there for them when we are gone. No one. We let them have their children and lay around the house, not work and support themselves or their children. My daughter is 15 and I am a disabled single mom. She knows as long as she is under my roof she will abide by my rules. We have relinquished control of our children to society and sorry folks, it is not their job to raise our children. Just as it is not OUR job to raise our children's children. Who are we helping when we do that? They don't HAVE to accept responsibility because we are doing it all for them. WAKE UP people. Let's teach our children to be self sufficient, to get up in the morning and go to work, to be emotionally and financially capable of raising those kids they are in such a hurry to have. Saying I love you to your kids is great, now show them that you mean it. We do this and we won't need the unwed mother's homes and the lines at the abortion clinic will be a little shorter.
