    First Call for Accumulations

Remember these are my thoughts and not those of Local 12.

Along and Just east of I-71: 3-7 inches

    West of I-71: 7+"

SE: Viewing Area (Adams Co. OH, Mason Co. KY,  and eastern Bracken Co. KY) : 2-4" tapering down to mabye 1-3" by the time you get to Lewis Co. KY and Scioto Co. OH

    Re: First Call for Accumulations

    Hamilton County I predict 5 to 7
Butler and Preble county I wouldnt bee suprised to see a 9 or 10 inch amount by noon wed
northern ky I'd say 3 to 5 inches
Southeast like brown adams 2 to 4 inches

The thing about this storm is after midnight tuesday the temp is dropping to about 15 degrees and at that temp snow fall ratios will be about 18 or 20 to 1.  So even .2 tues night/wed am will be an additional 4 inches.  Thats why I think all of these amounts could be a little low!!

    Re: First Call for Accumulations

I'm not buying the whole rain thing for the Cinci area...  South of the river, maybe.   There is no inversion layer (or any higher temp aloft), the model is predicting above freezing air just barely above the surface.   Where is this advection coming from?   Surface winds will be calling up surface air from E. KY and E. TN.   There are a couple inches of snow on the ground across these areas right now.   Forecasters constantly had to adjust surface temps down all week, to compensate for the model's inaccuracy.

How about mason area, warren county? Looks to me like we'll be in the all snow category unless something shifts around more.
