Jan, Thanks for your report.  The town name of ''Farmers'' is provided by the government database.  Every other map I can find (including Google Maps, Mapquest, etc.) has the name ''Farmers''.  I can't find any mention of ''Farmer's Station'' at all! And I can't seem to find it refered to anything other than ''Farmers'' on any map ...

The climate data for the Cincinnati area is REALLY messed up.  Especially 1947.  I suspect the NWS is throwing out all data from Abbe for 1947 and is using CVG instead.  Hard to tell where to draw the line. Friday morning and afternoon I was calling for storms likely on Sunday.  I put a huge thunderstorm icon on the Planning Forecast.

100% dry at least through Thursday. Slim chances for rain Fri-Sun.  Decent chance of showers and storms Monday.

Just don't tell them.  They don't need to know!

Had classmates who worked for VORTEX 1.  They loved it.  James, our morning weather producer, is out there chasing right now, not with VORTEX, but he's been near them.
