Tim Hedrick has returned to LOCAL12 after a bit of time off. He recently disclosed, and John Gumm could dig this up, that he had prostate cancer, and took time off for recovery due to being treated. Tim is back on the air now, although based on what I've seen he's limiting his schedule which is probably better for him.

Looking wet. Unless a thunderstorm comes through the area within a certain radius of Riverbend, however, I would anticipate only a minor delay.

I do expect scattered rain showers throughout the day. Radar at 05:00 shows a complex of rain headed straight for the metro and that should be here by 06:30. By 3:00 this afternoon, I do expect there MAY be a bit of a break, before another round towards 6-7pm. Either way, anticipate possibly having to take cover in some substantial shelter if a ...

It would appear to me that said dry period will actually end today. At 04:00, CVG had heavy rain falling. Radar currently shows a large complex of at least light rain coming right at the area. Ended up being stranded in the apartment I was vacating as the snow fell for 30 hours straight. Ended up with a total of about 20 inches in the front yard of the apartment building. It was great. ...

Who remembers the snowstorm of February 4-6 1998? The tenth anniversary of that historic official snowfall is tomorrow.

I've got a lot of big, BIG icicles on my gutters. So we're expecting those to crash down hard and fast...

I'm not liking this. But it may well be right. IF however this does shift back south at the last minute (e.g. on the 12z run), would it have an impact still on the forecast? And also we have to consider the front which is supposed to be heading southward right now?
